Teaching and Research Area
My research in Educational Technology focuses on innovative and data-driven approaches to enhance teaching and learning. Key areas of interest include AI-powered personalized learning and intelligent tutoring systems, as well as learning analytics and educational data mining for adaptive instruction. I explore immersive learning through augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and the metaverse, alongside affective computing to better understand learner engagement and emotional dynamics. My work also extends to blockchain-based digital credentials, ensuring secure and verifiable learning records. I am committed to promoting inclusive education through assistive technologies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Additionally, I investigate open educational practices (OEP), microlearning, gamification, and social-emotional learning (SEL) as strategies for learner motivation and engagement. Ensuring cybersecurity and data privacy in EdTech solutions remains a cross-cutting theme in my research agenda.
